There’s plenty for fans to pick up at the comic shops this week. In the shops on Wednesday, November 29 are Star Wars Adventures #4 (with two covers), Jedi of the Republic: Mace Windu #4, Poe Dameron #21, atrade of the Rogue One adaptation, plus Star Wars Insider.
In shops now are Star Wars #39 and the first trade collection of the current Darth Vader series, Imperial March.
One of the more confusing releases lately has been the deluxe edition of Daniel Wallace’s The Rebel Files. It’s available now from Amazon and even has a trailer.
Coming from Marvel on Wednesday, October 18 we have Captain Phasma #4 and Poe Dameron #20. Meanwhile, IDW drops Star Wars Adventures #3 and the series’ first trade collection. And from Titan, there’s Star Wars Insider #176.

Two comics and a brand-new Insider are heading to the shelves on Wednesday, July 19. Darth Maul #5 ends the latest miniseries, while Poe Dameron #17 takes Black Squadron back into action. Star Wars Insider #174 jumps in with a Finn feature.
Del Rey teases ‘Voices of the Empire,’ a new short story by new-to-Star Wars writer Mur Lafferty. The story ties into Rogue One and Catalyst, featuring Orson Krennic and reporter Calliope Drouth.
Read it in Star Wars Insider #170, which drops December 27.
We’ve got an interesting item out Tuesday: Pablo Hidalgo’s Star Wars Propaganda: A History of Persuasive Art in the Galaxy. The book is written from an in-universe perspective and features brand-new artwork, including “ten removable art prints.”
On Wednesday we have Star Wars #24, Poe Dameron #7 and volume 1 of the Legends collection of the original Marvel Star Wars run. Also keep an eye out for Star Wars Insider #169.
Our next book, due out on November 15, is the Rogue One novel Catalyst by James Luceno, which will give us some background on Orson Krennic and Galen Erso. (The first excerpt dropped last week.) Check out our book release schedule for more.
Head out this Wednesday for The Force Awakens #2 and Star Wars Insider #167.
Among the reveals at today’s publishing panel: Expanded Universe vet James Luceno is writing Catalyst, the Rogue One companion novel. We also got the cover, which is pretty neat, but no more details than that. (Still a mystery: The adaptation.)
Most of the things at the panel were kids books, but we also learned about a few new Star Wars Insider short stories. There’ll be two new Blade Squadron stories, including one in September that ties into Aftermath: Life Debt. (The Insider also had their own panel.)
There’s a new Galactic Atlas that’s written from an in-universe perspective, featuring “600-700 individual illustrations.” A new Complete Locations will cover Starkiller Base, Maz’s castle and Rey’s AT-AT home. And Jason Fry’s Weapon of a Jedi is being adapted for younger readers as Luke and Lost Jedi Temple.
Head to the comic shop on Wednesday for Star Wars #17, Obi-Wan and Anakin #3, and volume 2 of Legends Epic Collection: The New Republic, which appears to be all X-wing material.
Also, missed last week, Star Wars Insider #164 is in stores now.
Head to the comic store on Wednesday for Obi-Wan and Anakin #2, plus Star Wars Insider #163.
