One book and two comics are coming out this week. Gina McIntyre’s Star Wars Icons: Han Solo will be out Tuesday, April 2, for those who didn’t nab it early from Sideshow. And coming Wednesday, April 3 we have more Han, as Solo #7 wraps up the comic adaptation of the movie, plus Star Wars #64.

Two comics, a Legends trade
Speaking of Legends, does Queen Trios’ headgear situation on the cover of Star Wars #63 remind anyone else of the old-school Sith from Dark Horse’s ’90s Tales of the Jedi comics? Homage? Coincidence? They’re both based off some old Flash Gordan serial? Anyway, there’s also Solo #6, Star Wars Insider #188, and back to Legends, volume three reprinting of Dark Horse’s ’00s Knights of the Old Republic series.
Two comics are coming on Wednesday, February 20. Marvel drops Solo #5, while from IDW we have Star Wars Adventures #18

Three comics and a trade are on the menu for January 30, 2018. The singles are Solo #4, Doctor Aphra #28, Star Wars Adventures #17. The trade is Darth Vader Volume 4, collecting the series’ concluding ‘Fortress Vader’ storyline.

Just two comics coming on Wednesday, November 21: Star Wars #57 (the solicitation is very excited about “Shirtless HAN SOLO, chopping wood,” which I guess explains the American Gothic riff on the cover) and Solo #2, both from Marvel.
Two brand-new comics are out on Wednesday, October 10. The scares continue with Tales from Darth Vader’s Castle #2, which has two covers. We also see Marvel’s Solo #1, the first of seven issues adapting the film.

There’s a set of three new short Solo novelization excerpts on StarWars.com today filling in-between scenes from the film – one with Qi’ra and Lady Proxima, one with L3-37 and the Millennium Falcon, and one with Enfys Nest and some other familiar characters. Mur Lafferty’s Solo: A Star Wars Story: Expanded Edition will be out on September 4.
