Another exhaustive look at the differences between the original movie and the 2004 DVDs, this time focusing on Empire Strikes Back. Also check out 1980: The Empire Theatrical Experience.
Artist Lawrence Noble is profiled. I want that ESB fan club poster!
New stuff from Hasbro, including a really cool Sith Starfighter I can’t recall ever seeing before.

Flashback to ESB
Our first look at the bonus DVD menu for Empire Strikes Back. I really like that they’re choosing the less-common posters. If only they’d done it with the covers… Of course, it’s naturally paired with yesterday’s look back at 1980.
Also, the costumed folks hit Charlotte, Columbus, and Portland.
Get your Fett on
This is interesting… No author tour, but Bloodlines book release events in Texas, Maryland, Colorado, Arkansas, Indiana, Missouri, North Carolina, and Utah.
Speaking of events, the Star Wars Road Trip was in Louisville yesterday.
And in other EU news, I somehow overlooked the Legacy #3 preview.
Flashback to 1977
The official site looks back at the Star Wars theatrical experience.
Also, the road trip makes its way to Miami.
Wookiee World* Tour
TFN reports that Chewbacca, Darth Vader, and Wicket are going on an 11-city tour of the U.S. starting August 22nd. There’s also a contest that’ll reward folks who take the best pictures of the characters or themselves, with the prize being a trip for for to Celebration IV.
Same exact item is now up at starwars.com. All hail the press release!
* In the ‘World’ Series sense
