Slim pickings for Star Wars fans at the comic shop this week, but at least there’s a reason to go in on Wednesday: Knights of the Old Republic #35, finale of the ‘Vindication’ storyline.
Out this week: The Clone Wars on DVD
Out this week: DVDs, Insider, Rebellion
There’s a lot coming out this week, but sadly little of it is anything new. Today brings two DVD sets, repackaging the two-DVD editions of the Original and Prequel Trilogies. You can also pick up the latest Star Wars Insider.
Meanwhile, Wednesday brings the third collection of Rebellion, Small Victories.
Out this week: Legacy, Rule of Two PB
Look for Drew Karpyshyn’s Rule of Two in paperback today, Legacy #29/Vector part 10 on Wednesday.
Out this week: Millennium Falcon, KOTOR
Today look for James Luceno’s Millennium Falcon in bookstores, while Wednesday brings Knights of the Old Republic #34.
Out this week: Nothing but The Clone Wars
Those of you not already sick of it can pick up The Clone Wars #2 at your comic shop on Wednesday. But never fear, my fellow Clone apathists – next week finally brings us Millennium Falcon!
Oh, and Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull comes out on DVD. Duh.
Out this week: Luke omnibus, Legacy, Insider
All is quiet on the book front until October, but there’s quite a comic pile coming on Wednesday. Okay, most of that heap is the giant 800-page Luke Skywalker: Last Hope for the Galaxy collection, but there’s also The Clone Wars: Shipyards of Doom. For regular comics, Vector begins its final lap through the comic GFFA in Legacy #28.
And let’s not forget the latest Star Wars Insider…
Out this week: TFU, O66, KOTOR
Stuff is sure to blow up real good in Tuesday’s releases. First off is the much-hyped game that has been impossible to avoid lately, The Force Unleashed. You can even pick it up tonight if the mood strikes. For those who prefer their ass-kicking without the baggage of required hardware, tomorrow also sees the release of the fourth and final Republic Commando novel, Order 66.
Meanwhile, comic fans can expect Knights of the Old Republic #33 on Wednesday.
Out this week: The Clone Wars #1 (and previews)
Just one on Wednesday: The Clone Wars #1, first of a new series that ties-in to the TV series.
Looking into the future, we do have some new previews: Legacy #28/Vector part 9 and Knights of the Old Republic #34.
Check the shelves for Windham’s Obi-Wan bio!
Scholastic doesn’t bother with strict street-dating like Del Rey does, so it’s not too much of a shock that Ryder Windham’s The Life and Legend of Obi-Wan Kenobi has been spotted in stores (and Amazon is shipping it) despite being an ‘October’ release. Which in book time means September, but what the hell – we’re almost there.
