The elusive Qi’ra Forces of Destiny short is live now, and it also features Hondo Ohnaka and IG-88.
The rest of S3 went up on May 4. All eight episodes will air tonight at 8:30 p.m. on the Disney Channel.
Today, upon the occasion of the movie’s release, a new Solo featurette puts the spotlight on the scoundrels – aka most of the cast, really.
I’ll have a discussion post up this evening for anyone who wants to char or give their first impressions in a spoiler-safe place.
Friday’s new episode of Forces of Destiny will star Solo‘s Qi’ra, The Star Wars Show revealed today. The previous seven episodes from the web show’s third season came out earlier this month.

Lucasfilm has put a scene from Solo up on Youtube. It’s an expansion of the “190-years-old” bit we’ve seen in some of the promotional spots.
The Solo book lineup is here, and it’s extensive. All the usual suspects are here: Novels from Del Rey and Disney Lucasfilm Press, comics from Marvel and IDW, the standard non-fiction… And a whole lot of kids stuff, because Star Wars. It’s all over at Entertainment Weekly, but here are my highlights.

Emilia Clarke gives Entertainment Weekly some context on Qi’ra, her character in Solo: A Star Wars Story, including that there’s a “romantic side of things.” (Sigh, so much for all those half-sister theories.) But mainly, that her and Han go way back.
There is a thing throughout the relationship you just can’t put your finger on. And that’s Qi’ra. Every time you think you have got her number you realize you haven’t at all. [Laughs] Which is really hard to play. The goal is that the shadow of Qi’ra is there in Han as a character that we know. This girl is another texture that makes up who he is when we first meet him.
