One new book, one reprint and a brand new comic are coming to stores this week. Out Tuesday, November 27 is Millennium Falcon: Owners’ Workshop Manual by Ryder Windham, Chris Reiff and Chris Trevas, as well as the paperback edition of Jason Fry’s The Last Jedi novelization. Fry has been tweeting some behind-the-scenes info about writing the book.
On Wednesday, November 28, we get Darth Vader #24, the second-to-last issue of the ongoing.

Coming today is a new edition of Terry Brooks’ The Phantom Menace novelization, which contains a new short story, ‘End Game,’ by James Luceno. Like the rerelease of Darth Maul: Shadow Huntera few weeks back, this edition doesn’t have a new ISBN, so your best bet would be to pick it up in person to make sure you’ve got the right version.
Meanwhile, Wednesday is a good day to head out to the comic shop, due to the presence of Dawn of the Jedi #0 on the shipping list this week.
It’s also about time to be keeping an eye out for the latest Star Wars Insider, #131, which a Millennium Falcon story by Star Wars newcomers David J. Williams and Mark S. Williams.

And while we’re on the topic of catalogs, both Mercy Kill and The Essential Reader’s Companion have made their appearances on Random House’s main online catalog as well. They’re currently due out on August 7, 2012 and August 21, 2012, respectively.
Short stories. Del Rey editor David Pomerico broke the news on Facebook yesterday: Matthew Stover’s ‘The Tenebrous Way’ will be December’s addition to the ever-growing pile of shorts making the Star Wars Insider.
The story will tie into James Luceno’s Darth Plagueis, which is due out December 27.
Poll. Again on Facebook, the Del Rey folks want to know which of the remaining 2011 releases you’re looking most forward to. At the moment it’s pretty close between Heir to the Empire 20th Anniversary Edition and Darth Plagueis.
Random. Since the latest Fate of the Jedi is hanging out on the bestseller list with his new novel, The New York Times asked author Lev Grossman about Star Wars. (This belongs in a different roundup entirely, but: Grossman just won the Campbell.)
Fate of the Jedi. The seventh of John Jackson Miller’s Lost Tribe of the Sith ebooks, Pantheon, was released today. It features an except of the next Fate of the Jedi book, Golden’s Ascension, which was also the subject of the last mini-except on Facebook. Ascension will be out August 9.
Upcoming. Announced last week, The Millennium Falcon Owners’ Workshop Manual by Ryder Windham with Chris Trevas and Chris Reiff on art. Currently scheduled for a February 2012 release.
SDCC. Del Rey will be giving out Revan masks in San Diego this weekend. (Revan masks? Really?) I seem to recall them promising that the book’s cover would revealed at the con, so there’s that, too.
