Twitch Guru looks at CGI Gone Awry: The Worst Special Effects of the Computer-Generated Era. Among the honored: The Hulk, Van Helsing, Wild Wild West, and the ’97 Jabba from the ANH Special Edition. I agree, and to up the odds: CGI Jabba was way, way worse than Han shooting first. Discuss.

Chewbacca is Entertainment Weekly’s fourth greatest sidekick of all time, proving that everyones loves a Wookiee. Other geek-friendly sidekicks include Samwise Gamgee (#7,) Ron and Hermoine (#11,) Willow Rosenberg (#17) and Silent Bob (#39.)
