Best we don’t tell them about the Holocron

Can't say we're particularly proud of this one.Not surprisingly, Cracked’s list of eight most needlessly detailed Wikipedia entries starts off with a Star Wars item. Their reasoning: excessive listings of non-movie characters might encourage Lucas to make more movies. Sorry dudes: too late.

However, I am disturbed by their claim that the Seventh Heaven entry they point to is longer than The Simpsons. That simply cannot be – for one thing, The Simpsons, being an actual show of influence, has a variety of subpages – one for each of their eighteen (!!) seasons – that Seventh Heaven does not…

I’m thinking too much about this, aren’t I?

The Catchup: And the kitchen sink

Trivia masters rejoice: Jeopardy! added a Star Wars category today. It’s already aired here (curses!) so I have to ask: just how obsessed does one have to be to make the $1000 question laughable?

Catching up with Labor Day weekend

George Lucas is becoming ‘increasingly involved’ with the Clone Wars animated series. Good? Bad? Gungan? Only time will tell! In other CW news, Disney really wants the broadcast rights.
