Wednesday will bring Legacy #33, finishing off the ‘Fight Another Day’ storyline. In other comic news, Randy Stradley said on the Dark Horse boards that there will be an Invasion announcement at WonderCon next weekend.
Five weeks until Fate of the Jedi: Outcast!
Rebelscum has a couple of galleries from Toy Fair… Not much EUish from Diamond Select. (Though their Jedi Luke looks nice.) The real gems, as usual, come from Hasbro and their comic packs. There’s a bunch of Clone Wars stuff I can’t even begin to catagorize… And a Marvel-era Luke and Lumiya! (Removable head? How apt!)
Heading into a more modern comic era, Legacy’s Darth Krayt and an Imperial Knight who I believe is Sigil Dare, plus Kyle Katarn and Beefy the Vong (probably not his real name,) above. (Based on a late Tales storyline?)

The hype continues. Joe Schreiber reports that that the first look at Deathtroopers got over 50,000 page views. It’s officially big on the internet! (Plus he’ll be at NYCC this weekend with some extremely unofficial swag – the book’s soundtrack.)
Meanwhile, we have another sighting: Literary agent Colleen Lindsay, with nothing but praise.
EUC nabbed Lucasfilm Licensing editor Sue Rostoni to talk about Legacy of the Force, Fate of the Jedi, and other EU works past, present, and future.
The third and final Coruscant Nights novel, Patterns of Force, will be in bookstores tomorrow. And comic fans won’t go empty-handed this week, either: Both Legacy #32 and the first Vector TPB are on Diamond’s shipping list for Wednesday. I’m also hearing that the latest Star Wars Insider is now in stores.
Editor Dave Marshall talks a wee bit about Knights Of The Old Republic #37, plus a nine page preview. (Alas, the issue didn’t come out yesterday – at least not if you believe Diamond.)
Meanwhile, CBR has John Jackson Miller, John Ostrander, Jan Duursema and Randy Stradley to talk about Vector now that it’s done – and/or the first trade is imminent, depending on your point of view. But the piece does contain spoilers.
In addition to the big Blood Oath reveal, last night brought us Dark Horse’s April solicitations. Included are the return of Dark Times; Knights of the Old Republic #40; Legacy #35 and The Clone Wars #5 (Slave girl outfits for everyone!) And lastly, the second Vector collection, including its run in Rebellion and Legacy. Don’t plan to skip this one if you’re following Legacy in trades!
Bookspot’s Jay Tomio talks to author Joe Schreiber about his upcoming Star Wars horror novel, how he got the job, and his history with the franchise. I believe this is the first interview with Schreiber focusing solely on Deathtroopers.
In other EU news, the preview for Legacy #32 went up on Friday.
A good number of you probably don’t need me to tell you that Luke Skywalker and the Shadows of Mindor will be in stores tomorrow, but so it is. Also, the paperback of the Legacy of the Force finale, Denning’s Invincible.
Comic fans won’t go empty-handed this week, either: Arriving in comic stores on Friday (not Wednesday!) will be The Clone Wars: Crash Course and the Vector conclusion, aka Legacy #31.
