Carrie Fisher heading out to Celebration Japan
It’s beginning! Our first chunk of Celebration Japan news is a biggie: Carrie Fisher will appear at the three-day anniversary con near Tokyo. In other news, sculptor Lawrence Noble will be sculpting Luke Skywalker live, the Collectible Medallions are returning, and tickets are going on sale this weekend!
CE: Art, art and more art in London
Lawrence Noble will be live-sculpting Grand Moff Tarkin at Celebration Europe. Just like at CIV, one lucky fan will get to take the bust home. There’ll also be an art show and environments by Weird & Wonderful that will “transport visitors into the world of Star Wars.”
CIV: Sculpting to see, people to meet
Artist Lawrence Noble will be sculpting a bust of Obi-Wan Kenobi live at Celebration. Not only that, but a fan will be selected to recieve the piece once it’s cast. Pretty cool!
Also, more guests have been announced, including Bonnie Piesse, Ray Park, Michonne Bourriague, and Shannon McRandle.
