Empire magazine has two new Solo images today – one of Han during the Vandor heist, and a second of Dryden Vos in his sunny lair. There’s some showpiece-looking Mandalorian armor in the background, because of course there is.
StarWars.com is back with our third Last Shot excerpt – this one featuring a pre-Solo Lando Calrissian and L3-37.
The first two excerpts were Han with baby Ben, and Han with Sana Starros. Last Shot, by Daniel José Older, will be out in hardcover and eBook on April 17.
We got a big list of Solo merchandise yesterday, and most of it is standard stuff that I’ll leave to the collectors. But as I looked over it this morning, I spotted something new, and it’s super hilarious: The “Lando Tabletop Collection” from seven20.
The Solo book lineup is here, and it’s extensive. All the usual suspects are here: Novels from Del Rey and Disney Lucasfilm Press, comics from Marvel and IDW, the standard non-fiction… And a whole lot of kids stuff, because Star Wars. It’s all over at Entertainment Weekly, but here are my highlights.
Today from Entertainment Weekly’s Solo coverage, an interview with Donald Glover on Lando Calrissian, meeting with Billy Dee Williams, being a snappy dresser, and working with puppeteers.
→ The droid L3-37 (Phoebe Waller-Bridge) is Lando’s sidekick. Tobias Beckett (Woody Harrelson) and Val (Thandie Newton) are “career crooks,” while Dryden Vos (Paul Bettany) is a crime boss.
