Episode III soundtrack Grammy nominations
John Williams’ score for Revenge of the Sith got two Grammy award nominations today. The album is up for Score Soundtrack Album for Motion Picture, Television or Other Visual Media and the track “Anakin’s Betrayal” is up for Best Instrumental Composition.
Star Wars theme is tops
The American Film Institute has named the score for A New Hope as the greatest film score of all time. John Williams has three scores in the top 25, also including Jaws (#6) and E.T. (#14.) Rounding out the top five are the scores for Gone with the Wind, Lawrence of Arabia, Psycho, and The Godfather.
Cue the music… and the giggles.
Revenge of the Sith soundtrack with bonus Palpatine! Well, and a DVD. But mostly Ian McDiarmid. Oddly enough, does not come out on April 2nd with the rest of the prequel stuff…
