Rumor mill: Possible title for Indy 4?
In an otherwise-pedestrian blog bemoaning Sean Connery’s choice to not take the role of Jones Sr. for another spin, The Guardian’s James Anthony claims the movie’s working title is Indiana Jones and the City of the Gods. Could it be? Well, it’s not the first time we’ve heard this one.

The new Indiana Jones movie will film some scenes in New Haven. (Could Indy be teaching at Yale?) And we have a time period: Local merchants are being asked to make their storefronts look like the ’50’s.
Frank Darabont and the Indy IV rumors
The screenwriter talked to MTV about his nixxed Indy IV script. But this also lead me to the rumors about Darabont’s script having the archaeologist dealing with aliens. As fantastic as a decent Indiana Jones/X-Files crossover maybe/sorta/kinda could be, that’s one thing that’s probably best left to fanfic… Which may indeed be where the rumor originated. Fandom, you so crazy. Never change.
