Production designer Guy Hendrix Dyas takes IndianaJones.com viewers on a quick video tour of the house of Indiana Jones, as will be seen in Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. See where Indy hangs his hat, and all those artifacts that aren’t quite museum quality.

Mark your calendar for February 14th… That’s when, according to CHUD, the Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull will be teased on Entertainment Tonight as well as debut in theaters, with the whole thing showing up on IndianaJones.com at midnight on the 15th. Hopefully that’s Eastern time…
As Vector approaches…
Comic Book Resources talks to John Jackson Miller about Vector, Knights of the Old Republic and even Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. (He penned the comic adaption.)
The images in the article are the same ones we saw on the MySpace preview, which also went up as the standard Knights of the Old Republic #25 preview a few days ago.
Indy spoilers from LEGO?
Some photos of some of the 2008 LEGO sets have surfaced, and the Indiana Jones sets have our adventuring archaeologist alongside his allies and enemies, and a bunch of LEGO critters in the Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull sets. Check it out here. Meanwhile, the LEGO Indiana Jones site is not quite ready, though it’s January!
New Indy picture storms the net
Crystal Skull being prepped for Blu-Ray?
Blu-Ray.com visited the THX booth at CES 2008 and rooted out this intriguing salvo in the all-but-settled format wars:
As we all know, Paramount’s deal does not cover Steven Spielberg films, and so Indy 4 is being prepped for Blu-ray Disc for release sometime late this year. Apparently, Paramount is reluctant to pony up the additional cost for the disc to be certified, so it may take George Lucas to personally step in and make it happen.
Young Indy DVD set: Volume 3 – releases April 29.
According to DVDActive, the third and final volume of The Adventures of Young Indiana Jones will be released on DVD on April 29, 2008 (follow the link for box art). Subtitled “The Years of Change”, it will cover young Indy from after World War I through his days among the entertainers in America in 1920. This set will contain Harrison Ford’s contribution to The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles, telling the tale of “The Mystery of the Blues” while snowbound in 1950 Wyoming.
Indiana Jones and the comic cover false alarm
SW Artist Steve Anderson provided the staff of TheForce.net with a link to this piece, which, while cool, isn’t the cover of the comic adaptation of Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, according to Jeremy Barlow at Dark Horse – instead, expect to see a new piece from Hugh Fleming (who did the awesome cover art for Shadows of the Empire comics, among other SW pieces.)
Indiana Jones headlining new Vanity Fair
Like a select few event movies before it, Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull is getting a sizable spread in Vanity Fair, with the requite Annie Leibovitz photo shoot. There’s also an online-only George Lucas Q&A where he talks quite a bit about Star Wars, including the differences between the two trilogies:
People who are over 40 love [Episodes] IV, V, and VI and hate I, II, and III. Younger people like I, II, and III and don’t like IV, V, and VI, or they like I, II, and III better and think IV, V, and VI are kind of boring and slow. And of course the older people say, “Oh, I, II, and III—it’s too jittery, too fast, too complicated, it’s too digital,” or whatever they want to say. But definitely one generation has grabbed hold of one of them, and the other generation has grabbed hold of the next one.
The magazine ought to be on newsstands now. (via)
ETA: i09 has a rebuttal to George’s comments on why we’ll hate Indy 4. Awww. It’s so cute when they’re young and innocent enough to believe in the great and generous nature of fandom-at-large when confronted with new things.
IndyNews: John Hurt on Indiana Jones
Premiere Magazine does an interview with John Hurt on being in Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. The veteran actor talks about being cast but keeps contractually mum about the script as his role, even amid speculation that he plays Abner Ravenwood. He also discusses working with the divine Spielberg and leaving Lucas alone.
