Variety confirms the rumors: the teaser trailer for Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull will debut February 14th. It’s attached to The Spiderwick Chronicles, but expect it on the web in short order.

Crystal Skull revealed!
What does a Crystal Skull look like? It looks like this. And before that image appeared, Action Figure news showed off this picture of some various artifact merchandise – including the crystal skull. So… what does a Kingdom of the Crystal Skull look like? Wait until May 22, when Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull is released – or at least until next week, when the first trailer is revealed.
Meanwhile, IGN’s Obscure Character of the Day is none other than the librarian in Venice from Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade.
Yet another Indy IV photo
In today’s Kingdom of the Crystal Skull news, MTV has Indiana Jones in a familiar warehouse. Given how they’ve been playing up the location (it was also featured in the Vanity Fair shoot) I’m half-convinced it’ll end up being either a foiler or mostly irrelevant to the greater plot.
Indy’s got a gun
Brand new Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull photo debuts (on print) Friday in the latest issue of Empire. You can check it out without all the extraneous junk over at StarWars.com, which also has behind-the-scenes video from Annie Leibovitz’s Vanity Fair photo shoot and the movie novelization cover.

AICN has a possible text description of the Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull teaser trailer – which will possibly be released on Paramount’s The Spiderwick Chronicles, which comes out on Feb 14.
Who might not be making it to the premieres and press tours for Indy IV? Cate Blanchett has another production due in April that might keep her from the red carpet. So sayeth the Sydney Morning Herald.

According to this article from CHUD.com with a moderately amusing photo-valentine, the trailer for Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull will start appearing on February 14th – on movies at the theater, and on Entertainment Tonight. Then at 12:01 a.m. the trailer will be released on IndianaJones.com. That’s about 21 days from now. Get in line while there’s still a spot available!
