Things are a bit dire for new releases this Wednesday, December 4 as we hunker down and wait for The Rise of Skywalker. This week, our sole new release is Jedi Fallen Order: Dark Temple #5, concluding… Whatever that is. Then Marvel is offering a reprint version of their original 1977 Star Wars #1 and then Star Wars Saga #1, which appears to be a recap of their 2015-2019 series.
Star Wars out this week: Marvel flashes back to the ’80s
Two comics are coming out on Wednesday, May 29, 2019. As part of their 80th anniversary celebration, Marvel goes Legends for Star Wars #108, a new edition to their classic Star Wars series. The original series ended with #107 back in 1986, though #108 is actually a sequel to #50’s ‘Crimson Forever’ storyline. Also out is Darth Vader: Dark Visions #4.

We’ve got three new comics and an old (very old) trade collection coming on Wednesday, July 18. They’re Star Wars #51, Darth Vader Annual #2, Poe Dameron #29 and the Legends collection The Original Marvel Years Volume 3.
Fans attending San Diego Comic Con later this week have a shot at getting two exclusive editions of Timothy Zahn’s Thrawn: Alliances a few days early. The standard edition will be out on July 24. (We’re also expecting book news out of the con on Friday.)
Star Wars out this week: Vader and Aphra (not together)
On tap for Wednesday, July 12, are two new comics and one Legends trade. Head to the comic shop for Darth Vader #3, Doctor Aphra #9, and The Original Marvel Years Vol. 2.
Also on the shipping list, but not in stores until July 19, is Star Wars Insider #174. That may be our only release next week, since On the Front Lines was pushed back to August, but we’ll see…
