Star Wars with occasional sarcasm
There’s only one thing out this week, as we wait and gear up for the Rogue One rush. Wednesday brings a hardcover reprint collection from Marvel, Heroes for A New Hope. It collects the Princess Leia, Lando and Chewbacca miniseries.

Waiting at your preferred comic retailer this Wednesday will be Kanan #11 – the series’ second-to-last issue – and the trade collection of the Chewbacca mini-series.
As for that C-3PO comic that’s been continually delayed, it’s going to press any day now and is expected for a March 30 release.
This Wednesday brings two new comics, the end of one miniseries and the beginning of a second: Chewbacca #5 and Obi-Wan and Anakin #1. It’s also time to start looking for Star Wars Insider #162, which makes up for lost time with end-to-end The Force Awakens interviews.
Out last week was Darth Vader #14, the fourth part of the ‘Vader Down’ crossover event.

With less than two weeks to go before The Force Awakens hits theaters, Yowie, Baby Jawa, and I recount the latest in Star Wars for this week’s Unboxing Star Wars show. On Tuesday, Kevin Hearne’s Heir to the Jedi is out in paperback. I reviewed it when the hardcover came out, and was not particularly impressed.
More promising is Wednesday, which brings Darth Vader #13 – the second part of the ‘Vader Down’ crossover – and Chewbacca #4.
UPDATE: I forgot that Delilah S. Dawson’s ‘The Perfect Weapon’ short story is also out Tuesday as an eBook.

It’s hard to believe that after last week’s glut of comic releases that we’re still getting new comics on Wednesday, but so it is. Fans don’t have to wait long for Shattered Empire #3, and there’s also Chewbacca #1, which launches a new mini-series.
Don’t forget, we learned of several upcoming books, short stories and the next comic mini-series at NYCC this weekend. Our next novel, however, is Battlefront: Twilight Company by Alexander Freed on November 3.
