Rick McCallum will join the crowd in London, and musical fans could find themselves battling for the title of Celebration Europe Cantina Band.
Looks like comic presence will be slim to none in London this summer, due to the proximity of the mammoth San Deigo Comic Con. Hopefully some individual artists and writers will be able to make it over the pond.
Action figures based on the original McQuarrie concept art of Metropolis-inspired Threepio and Artoo! Now that’s almost worth waiting in line for.
In other CIV news, Master Replicas will be hosting tree competitive ‘Combat Trials’.

Lawrence Noble will be live-sculpting Grand Moff Tarkin at Celebration Europe. Just like at CIV, one lucky fan will get to take the bust home. There’ll also be an art show and environments by Weird & Wonderful that will “transport visitors into the world of Star Wars.”
Two-inch pewter medallion featuring classic figures will be given away during random collecting panels at Celebration. They’re limited to only 350 of each.
Meanwhile, fans at Celebration Europe can expect the R2-D2 Builders.
Charlie Ross is taking his One Man Star Wars Trilogy over the sea to Celebration Europe; David Prowse, Ray Park, Jeremy Bulloch, Daniel Logan, and Temuera Morrison are confirmed guests.
