Apparently, J. Michael Straczynski owes a bit to the Babylon5 fandom for helping get the new DVD’s done. Warner Brothers managed to lose or destroy the show’s computer graphics, so they had to turn to fans who had worked up their own graphics in order to get the special effects done in time.
Hmm. Do the fans get any producer credit for that?
As if there weren’t enough genre things to keep a fan giddy this summer, Babylon5 fans (including Captain Sheridan himself, Bruce Boxleitner) are getting ready for the release of the upcoming DVD The Lost Tales – Voices in the Dark on July 31st.

The sci-fi community is a tight-knit group. So it comes as little surprise that Teryl Rothery has been cast in the upcoming Babylon5 movie. Teryl Rothery is probably best known for her role as Dr. Frasier in Stargate SG-1.

SciFi Wire is reporting that a straight-to-DVD production is underway for Babylon 5 to tell a couple more stories. Sheridan, Lochley and Galen are already due to participate.
I can see Beth preparing to get her hands on that sucker right now….
