Nikko Home Electronics are making an electronic R2-D2 that does everything you’d expect from an electronic device, except brew you coffee. Though I’m sure that’ll make the next release.
An Artoo ‘hero dome’ used in Return of the Jedi and The Phantom Menace, authenticated by Kenny Baker, will go on sale at a live eBay auction on December 15th. Bidding starts at a cool $100,000.
