HuffPo’s Mike Ryan has the first look at the book trailer for The Making of Return of the Jedi as well as an interview with author J.W. Rinzler. It starts off with Ewok sex, of course.
In other bookish news, there’s a chat with Dawn of the Jedi and Legacy writer John Ostrander on the Star Wars Books Facebook page this afternoon, while Into the Void author Tim Lebbon will do the same on Wednesday.

Of course. First thing I think of when it comes to Return of the Jedi. That and Oola’s freeze frame nipplegate, naturally. ;-)
That being said, I wasn’t 6 or 7 when I first saw Return of the Jedi – I may have been 16 or 17 -, and it’s still my favorite part of the original trilogy. Strike that: The saga.
1st, because I have no issues with Ewoks, 2nd, because seeing it in theaters in 1997 was the most incredible cinematic experience of my life (take that, Avatar!) and 3rd, because the Force Theme rendition when Luke burns Vader’s armor continues to make me weepy to this day.
So @ Disney: Could you just buy Fox or something and re-release the original trilogy? Keep the other two prequels if you must but I seriously need to watch the classics on the big screen at least 1138 more times.
Thank you. :-)
