To commemorate the 30th anniversary, he Insider will have three, including a special edition only available at Celebration, and Empire magazine is going all out with a whopping thirty, revealing one a day on their website. Pity the poor collectors!

Unforseen bit of EU merchandise

Among the items Master Replicas will be producing before the end of the year (when their license expires) is a Mara Jade Lightsaber Limited Edition. (Scroll all the way down.) I’m guessing it’s the purple one, since the Anakin/Luke saber would be rather redundant.

Among CBS’ new shows for fall is Cane, starring Jimmy Smits (Bail Organa) as the the head of a powerful Cuban-American family and Angel Moonlight, about a vampire P.I. in love with a mortal woman.

The new Indiana Jones movie will film some scenes in New Haven. (Could Indy be teaching at Yale?) And we have a time period: Local merchants are being asked to make their storefronts look like the ’50’s.
