StarWars.com introduces Anakin Skywalker’s Clone Wars cannon fodder padawan, Ahsoka Tano.

Trek to Keep Trekkin’?
To butcher IDIC, it seems we could have infinite movies in the same combination…of the current cast, that is. According to an interview given to IGN by Anton Yelchin, who’ll be playing Chekov in the upcoming movie, he’s signed on for three Star Trek movies. (via)
Of course, as if mildly insulting Walter Koenig‘s dialect choices weren’t enough, he has probably started a fandom meltdown with this quote: “It’s so perfectly cheesy and B-like, and absolutely unapologetic for it.”
Granted, this was after he said he liked it. (And not entirely untrue.) But he does not realize the insanity of the fen. Poor, inexperienced boy.
More on the Indy IV teaser…
AICN has a possible text description of the Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull teaser trailer – which will possibly be released on Paramount’s The Spiderwick Chronicles, which comes out on Feb 14.
Who might not be making it to the premieres and press tours for Indy IV? Cate Blanchett has another production due in April that might keep her from the red carpet. So sayeth the Sydney Morning Herald.
And in a bizarre twist of art-becoming-reality: There is a Club Obiwan in China – not in Shanghai in the 1930s.. but in Beijing in 2008. Jamaican BBQ and Chick Flick Nights! No time for clubbing, Dr. Jones!
Out this week
Yes kids, you will be able to pick up the first part of Vector this week – Knights of the Old Republic #25 and Dark Times #8 are both on the shipping list for Wednesday. Hopefully next week will be luckier for the Legacy fans.
Video du Jour: Full Life Consequences
This is both the stupidest and most hilarious thing I have seen all day, and it’s all Pablo’s fault.
Clearly, we need to start collecting really bad fanfic for the next con, yes?
Bad News, Harry Potter Fans
Because Pan’s Labyrinth director Guillermo del Toro is in talks to direct The Hobbit, it looks like he will be too busy to direct Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.
io9 takes EU baby-steps with Vector
It appears that they got an early look at part 1 of Vector (which may or may not be coming out on Wednesday; we’ll let you know at 5pm.) Their review isn’t too detailed beyond what we’ve seen from the preview, but the description of Mandalorians as “zombie-like aliens” did get a bit of a chuckle from me.
50 years of LEGO
Everyone’s favorite plastic block toys are now fifty years old. Neatorama celebrates with ten neat LEGO facts and links. I’m going to do much less work and show you another great Steam Wars entry, RocketSeason’s Steam-Powered Speedy bicycle:
And people say licensing killed LEGO creativity…
