Sci Fi Wire readers bemoan the lack of The Empire Strikes Back, Aliens and Serenity in the… Wait a minute. AFI’s doing a list of the Best Science Fiction movies? A top ten? Which will air in June? You’d think I’d have noticed that yesterday… Need to stop doing this stuff at 4am, clearly. Let that be a lesson to you all: Don’t blog while drowsy. (She says, posting at 4am. Again.)
Oh well. Whatever the final results, we can at least be sure that Star Wars won’t get beat out by The Godfather.
So the site I like to think of as being full of crazy younger brother types, the Wookieepedia, is turning three years old today. I think in internet years that makes it what? Fifteen? A disturbing age, but we’ll get through it.

Before Indiana Jones can go in search of the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull on May 22, he’s got to unveil some other treasure – Special Editions of the first three Indiana Jones films, coming to DVD on May 13, with some new bonus content. Previously released as a box set, this time the films are available individually, with some new features, including a joint discussion with the women of Indy: Karen, Kate and Alison. Meanwhile, the Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull teaser trailer had reached over 200 million viewings online – in the first week alone. Read more about it on Yahoo!

Through a series of various odd Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon-style coincidences, the author of 1982’s The Jedi Master’s Quizbook has been rediscovered by the folks at StarWars.com, and they’ve got a feature up for the occasion.
This morning TFN reported that French fansite Star Wars-Universe.com had info about a Clone Wars comic… But naturally, it’s in French. The EU Cantina ran it through an automatic translator, but I’m not really seeing any big scoop. Was anyone really expecting that there wouldn’t be some kind of comic tie-in?
Not one, but two comic trades coming in on Wednesday, says Diamond: Legacy: Shards and Rebellion: The Ahakista Gambit. It’s also time to start looking for the latest Star Wars Insider.
So Supernatural is getting a fourth season, which I can understand, because they seem to have a huge following, at least on Livejournal. (The show itself? I don’t get it. But then I always liked Jess more, anyway.) Smallville’s continued existence is a little more puzzling, but it is Superman, so go figure.
io9 asks Which sci-fi franchise would you like to see Joss Whedon take over? (Warning: Terrifying photo manip.) Tough choices all, but it looks like Star Wars is winning so far. (Though if NBC had really wanted to save Bionic Woman…)
It’s probably just a pipe dream, but I do hope that LFL would nab him for an episode or so of the live-action show.
