Cast tweets: It’s an Episode VII wrap for Anthony Daniels; Daisy Ridley deletes her account

@ADaniels3PO: In today's golden hour, on a back lot in SE England, it was a wrap for me. Terminal, I hope, only in relation to Episode VII.Time will tell.

Anthony Daniels tweeted last night that he’s wrapped his part on Episode VII. Meanwhile, several hours ago, Daisy Ridley posted a farewell and now her Twitter account (@ridley_daisy) is gone. Here’s the text of her last tweets, per Favstar:

happy Saturday folks. I am bowing out of twitter. I really appreciate all the support thus far and hope you LOVE the film!

it has been and continues to be an INCREDIBLE experience with the most amazing group of people, cast and crew. Big Star Wars love. #MTFBWY x

The deletion is fairly understandable on Ridley’s part, particularly given the amount of secrecy surrounding the production.

You can see some of Ridley’s tweets on the tweets tag on our Tumblr, as well as those of her costars. She was a charming figure on the service – hopefully she feels like she can return one day.

Several of the newer Star Wars cast members remain active on Twitter: John Boyega, Andy Serkis, Lupita Nyong’o, Gwendoline Christie, and Pip Andersen, plus mainstays Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, and Peter Mayhew. For the record: Don’t ask Episode VII cast (or crew) if they can confirm or deny rumors; You know very well they can’t.

Unfinished The Clone Wars episodes debut; Ventress novel gets a title

tcw-legacy-utapauTurns out Jedi News was onto something after all: Four rough episodes of The Clone Wars – an arc featuring Obi-wan, Anakin, and Utapau – have made their debut on StarWars.com this afternoon.

They also reveal the title for the Christie Golden Asajj Ventress novel announced at SDCC: Dark Disciple.

Still no S6 DVD news, though I wouldn’t be surprised if those Utapau roughs make it on there.

Today in Episode VII: Concept art, maybe, of a scene and yet another stormtrooper

Indie Revolver is at it again today, dropping not only pictures of another version of stormtrooper but concept art of a battle on a planet that sounds like the one Roger Moore was talking about. Of course, we can’t say for sure if any of this is legit or just the work of talented fans, so you know the drill.

Meanwhile, from Greenham Common, there are new aerial photos and some snooper videos.

Simon Kinberg on Rebels: We’re “not afraid to take those characters to some dark places”

The inquisitor (Rebels)Empire talks to Simon Kinberg about Rebels – and, of course, the Episode VII connections (he’s still playing the ‘maybe’ game.) But on the tone of the series:

“We are not afraid to take those characters to some dark places. In the first season, there are some backstories that get revealed for main characters that are a lot darker and more dramatic than anything I’ve ever seen in animated TV, and which have the same depth and childhood trauma that the characters in the movies had.”

And The Inquisitor:

What we do know is that The Inquisitor is “less of a believer in the Empire and the cause of the Empire than perhaps Darth Vader, and more of a hunting dog.” So not a Sith, per se? “I don’t know how much I’m allowed to say about that, but no, per se.”

In other Rebels news, Lucasfilm and Disney have tapped DJ and dubstep producer Flux Pavilion to remix the show’s theme.
