Some folks at Lucasfilm are raising funds for charity, and here’s your chance to help by bidding on some original art. The items include posters signed by George Lucas and Dave Filoni, plus art from Amy Beth Christensen and other Lucasfilm Animation folks. Proceeds will go to the Breast Cancer Emergency Fund and SF Aids Emergency Fund.
Two episodes of Rebels left: Finale won’t be on app early
The next episode of Rebels, ‘Rebel Resolve,’ will air on Disney XD on February 23. It’s the first part of the season finale, which concludes with ‘Fire Across the Galaxy’ on March 2… And it won’t be showing up on XD app first, so everyone has to tune in live.
Another clip and more photos under the cut.

This week in The Force Awakens rumors: Leia’s costume, a line from Han, and Battlefront rumblings
The latest batch of rumors from Making Star Wars include a sketch of Leia’s costume, Imperial ranks and symbols and, from an extra, a line of Han Solo dialogue.
Jason also learned that the new Battlefront game will span the entire saga – including some post-Return of the Jedi stuff. (“Lucasfilm has a lot of plans for that era.” Damn right they do.) The final section of the game will involve a battle early on in The Force Awakens. The game is apparently due to drop only a month before the movie’s release… It’ll be interesting to see if it actually makes that window.
Carrie Fisher, Anthony Daniels and Kenny Baker coming to Celebration Anaheim
Carrie Fisher, Anthony Daniels and Kenny Baker announced for Celebration Anaheim. They join Dave Filoni and the Rebels crew.
We also have the schedule for the Podcast Stage, which features a few familiar names like our pals at Full of Sith and Tosche Station.
And winning praise is Celebration’s anti-harassment policy – and harassment can be reported directly from the official show app
Our convention tips from the last Celebration are still live, and much of it wll still apply to Celebration Anaheim, but we’ll be revisiting a few in the months to come.

Marvel and Sony to share custody of Spider-Man films
Marvel and Sony to share custody of Spider-Man films. It’s been rumored for a while, and now the deal is through. The new Spider-Man will appear in a Marvel film – expected to be Captain America: Civil War, but maybe Doctor Strange – before his next solo outing. Andrew Garfield, the current Peter Parker, is not expected to return. The deal has also pushed back several Marvel films, including Black Panther (from November 2017 to July 2018) and Captain Marvel (from July 2018 to November 2018.)
Last of the old Jedi, first of the new: The Force Awakens’ Jedi shouldn’t be the same as their predecessors
First it was ‘why aren’t stormtroopers clones?,’ now it’s ‘Luke Skywalker’s Jedi should be carbon copy of the Old Republic Jedi, right?’
Over at /Film, and in light of the latest rumor regarding possible Skywalker offspring, Germain Lussier gives his view on the rumors, and Jason at Making Star Wars has a response as well. (Possible spoilers at all those links, though I’m trying my best to avoid them here.)
I don’t agree with ether of them entirely (okay, I really don’t agree with Lussier and, full disclosure, went a-ranting on Twitter this morning over it) but there’s something kind of funny about all this: The old arguments never die, do they?
Out this week: Darth Vader #1

We’re expecting Darth Vader #2 this month as well, but it’s not on the distribution list for the 11th. The Princess Leia mini-series will begin next month.
Meanwhile, our next novel release is Kevin Hearne’s Heir to the Jedi on March 3.
