Jude Watson fans, the official site has posted a first look at the second book of the The Last of the Jedi series, Dark Warning.
ROTS beats down Ya-Yas
The novelization Revenge of the Sith made it to number 2 on the Publisher’s Weekly bestseller list for hardcover fiction last week. It was beaten, naturally, by The Da Vinci Code.
And the PG-13 rating is finally official, for “sci-fi violence and some intense images.” Click over to filmratings.com to see for yourself.

The Force Can Never Die
Thanks to TFN for pointing out this very funny article.
Apparently, there are still many ways in which George Lucas can continue to keep Star Wars changing over the next 50 years.
C3 details
Hayden will be at Celebration… Sort of. He’ll be beaming in (heh) via satellite from Rome, where he’s filming The Decameron. It’s set for 10:30 a.m. on Friday – Hayden fangirls best keep Thursday partying to a minimum.
As for the other major (most major) guest, starwars.com has posted the scheduled times for George Lucas’ appearances. There are three short sessions early on Saturday – the first one starts at the ungodly hour of 8:45 a.m. (Seating starts at 8:00!) Looks like no one is going to do any late partying this time. But hopefully, with 3,300 seats for each session, most people will get in.
Link Corral
The ROTS trailer with 133t subtitles. Sheer brilliance.
Hayden Christensen isn’t afraid of being typecast. Good for him. Speaking of future roles, Rob Cohen has talked to Christensen about a role in his Sinbad remake, which stars Keanu Reeves in the title role. Stars of Star Wars and The Matrix existing in harmony? Just imagine the fanboys head’s exploding at that one.
Also, someone on the list (memory fails me) found out where Matthew Stover is blogging since his original host went down. He’s blogging his book tour and other publicity efforts, so be sure to check it out.
House of Duchovny
Former X-Files star David Duchovny will make his directorial debut with a coming of age film entitled “House of D.” The film stars Tea Leoni and Robin Williams. Duchovny, who also wrote the script, will play a small part.
It goes into limited release on April 15. And Duchovny will apparently be doing a city-to-city tour with it.
The trailer looks interesting.
Oh yeah, he also says something about an XF movie and 2006. If anyone still cares.
Inappropriate for young children, the dark side is
And now for some legitimate news – AICN is reporting that Revenge of the Sith will be PG-13. I don’t think anyone is really surprised – Lucas has been saying that Sith would earn the higher rating for a while now.
I wonder how many chopped-off limbs this means?
Slashing Action!
Perez Hilton of the delightfully trashy Page SixSixSix claims that Hayden Christensen is gay.
True? False? Don’t know. Don’t really care. But it’s sure to make fangirls cry and slashers giggle madly, and that warms my black little heart.
Fan reaction seems mostly amused. But then, TFN doesn’t seem to have found it yet.
Force This
Yeah, another article on on the fans lining up at Grauman’s… But I had to blog this segment:
Sarah Sprague, 31, was growing testy as she tried to say the same thing to a sports reporter calling from Detroit.
“Yeah, I know it’s just a movie,” she said. “You’ve been reporting on sports, and you ask me whether I have a life?”
Then she asked the reporter if he wasn’t wasting his life covering 40 Tiger baseball games this year, referring to the team as “that losing cause.”
Detroit’s most famous sports reporter is Mitch Albom of the Free Press, known for saccharine writing and, more on the point, an article from 1999 about how Star Wars geeks need to get a life. Because everyone knows sports fans are always sane and dignified.
