From the Blogside
The Infinite Force on how to write a ‘popular’ blog on starwars.com. I don’t think there’s really a set formula, but you might as well give it a try. Early morning rambles and very snarky things about Courtship of Princess Leia or the YJK series (inexplicably beloved by the young’ens) have also been known to work. Or just hope everyone else sucks that day.
For all your high-minded analysis needs – Lord Noctifer on Apollonian Jedi and Dionysian Sith. Meanwhile, Master Ki-Aaron-Mundi considers the Force.
Nardasarmy introduces the fandom buddy system.
Dan Wallace lists the top eight B-List Marvel characters. Aren’t all Marvel characters B-list until proven otherwise?

Filk Friday
This week, we hop in the WayBack Machine ™ to a time when you could count the various SW Expanded Universe authors on two hands (and and probably divide them evenly between a “good” hand and a “bad” hand). Club Jader JeffP takes a look at the bad hand and asks Del Rey to deliver us from their evils in his Beatles parody “Imagine” (remember when Del Rey was the “new” Star Wars publisher?).
Fantastic Four Wedding shocker!
Thanks to HBO, I finally saw Fantastic Four – it wasn’t all that bad, though it got horrid reviews. (Sometimes a superhero movie is just a superhero movie, you know?) But hey, they’re making the inevitable sequel, and a ton of pictures have leaked from the set. Because I know you’re just all dying to see The Thing in a tux. Possible spoilers, and I don’t mean the fact that there’s a wedding.
Concept art for Dark Crystal sequel
MTV interviews Genndy Tartakovsky and shows five new sketches from Brian Froud for ‘s Power of the Dark Crystal. MTV’s flash gallery is temperamental, but AICN has reposted the pics.
Random multi-fandom fact
This may be one of those things that everyone but me knows, but I had no clue that the Presidio, in the Star Trek universe, is the home of Starfleet Academy. There’s also a Skywalker Division that builds ships for Starfleet.
