According to an MPAA insider, Lucasfilm has registered six different names for the upcoming fourth Indiana Jones movie. Chances are that one of them will probably be the name of the movie.

Of the six? I like “Indiana Jones and the Quest for the Covenant” (possibly learning how to Stop Worrying and Love “Attack of the Clones” has cracked me as I realize it’s a tad lame). Especially since the official site has a picture of the crate from Raiders.
“Destroyer of Worlds” sounds like a reference to the quote “I am become Death, Destroyer of Worlds”, which is from…something Hindu? The Bahagvaghita? It’s quoted in “The Hunt for Red October”. Please no, because not only is it lame, NO CONNECTIONS TO TEMPLE OF DUMB, PLZKTHNX.
i don’t like “Quest for the Covenant” if it really ties back to the Ark, because the Ark itself is not the Covenant, which is the legal agreement between God and the Israelites… unless they’re looking for the legal paperwork or somesuch… also, the Covenant is the villain aliens from Halo. many signs point to the Ark of the Covenant’s return in this movie, but i think Quest for the Covenant misses the mark.
whitney pointed out the flip side of this – that possibly they also might have story ideas for later installments. but it seems doubtful to me that they would register those names so early.
internet gossip has pointed to City of Gods as a possible title for a while.
So much for my guess: “Indiana Jones and the Temple of Prunes”
