So says this supposed Bad Robot new hire memo. I have to wonder; does that apply to leaking the memo as well? Will future versions include a postscript about how yes, that does include using info to get laid?
Of course, we know of old that Lucasfilm has their own high-tech ways of making sure that information remains internally… OR DO THEY?!?
Okay, seriously, this would be super easy to fake, and I suspect if it’s real it was some sort of internal April Fools joke or something. I mean, if you’re going to do the “I have a very special set of skills” thing, seems to be it’s best delivered in person, and without evidence.
UPDATE: And, surprising no one, this is apparently a fake. You don’t say!
I think it’s a fake, and here’s why: there’s a sentence that reads: “We take secrecy very important here at BR.” Which…I’m sorry, that’s not even English.
I also think that the “see to it that your reputation is destroyed…” bit is over the top, especially for a professional production house. My money’s on it being some sort of April Fool’s joke.
I think we’ve all seen way worse than that in a professional setting, but yeah.
Dammit, I thought I hit the right “reply” button. Don’t ban me! ;)
It’s okay. I only really freak out on those big posts where it’s easier for stuff to get lost.
(And really, I’m more mad at WordPress for not including the ability to link things after the fact in the admin.)
Seen it in writing? I know of cases of it being said to someone’s face, sure. Not sure that’s something that gets put in a letter though.
