Sensing the gap coming up after Harry Potter and Twilight, Entertainment Weekly is now starting its push to be the central place for all things Hunger Games with initial stills from the film and several upcoming covers – including our first look at Liam Hemsworth and Josh Hutcherson as Gale and Peeta.
I’m okay with that.
In the meantime, go pick up those books. They are most awesome.
Tracy, have you read the Hunger Games trilogy, and if so, did you like it? If so, why? I’m curious to know as I’ve finished the first one, and have just started the second, and I haven’t really talked to anyone else about the books. Thanks!
Well, Paula likes it. ;)
I did, too. Read the first one on the way to CV, and one of the first things I did when I got back was to buy the second one!
I did a mini-review a while back.
Ok, cool! Thanks!
I really enjoyed the novels- will reread them again when it is closer to the movie.
I really enjoyed the first two books but the third is just a fucking train wreck for so many reasons. I hope they take some heavy liberties with it when it comes time to make that film.
I was blown away by how awesome the books were. I’m looking forward to the film. I just hope people don’t see it as another Twilight, because in this, the lead heroine at least has some agency of her own.
