Upfront season has begun, when the networks announce their programming for fall. First to bat is NBC, which is retaining the genre hit Heroes and giving it a spin-off, Origins, which will run in the same time slot in the off season (whenever that may be.) Among the brand-new shows is the Bionic Woman remake and Journeyman, in which Rome’s Kevin McKidd as a time-traveling reported, and Chuck, about a computer geek who becomes a government agent. The Sanctuary is Now Open
The long-awaited original internet series Sanctuary has finally launched with the first webisode.
The series, created by ex-Stargate producer Damian Kindler, stars Amanda Tapping (Sam Carter) and Christopher Heyerdahl (Halling), and features guest appearances by Stargate Atlantis actors David Hewlett (Rodney McKay) and Paul McGillion (Carson Beckett).
The first few webisodes are free. Afterwards, there will be a small subscription fee to watch the show.
The end of BSG?
Will season four be the last for Battlestar Galactica? Edward James Olmos and Katee Sackhoff say it will; Producer David Eick denys.

Looks wonderfully spooky and Gothic.

Stargate Raps
One doesn’t normally associate Stargate with anything remotely resembling the hip-hop culture. But G4TV started it and David Hewlett (Rodney McKay) has now replied.
