More articles from the recent SciFi Vancouver Media Tour include this small tidbit about the new aliens for Stargate Atlantis Season 4. The Pegasus Galaxy is going to be getting an advanced alien race called The Travelers. David Hewlett (Rodney McKay) describes them as “hot leather aliens.”
In other Stargate Atlantis news, the cover art for the Season 3 DVD has been released. (I’m not impressed.)

Eureka! It’s a new season!
The new season of Eureka starts up tonight (Tuesday) on SciFi. Apparently there’s quite the nifty new Global Dynamics set that has sprung up in the wake of last year’s explosive ending.
And at least The Detroit News finds this show to be as funny as I do.

Yes, Nathan Fillion will be on ABC’s schlockfest Desperate Housewives next season. I’m afraid this means my father, who I accidentally made a casual Browncoat of by asking for the Firefly DVDs for Christmas a few years ago, will actually watch the soap. I mean, the man went to see Waitress!
I didn’t want to get into the Doctor Who habit…
But fandom has been buzzing about the Doctor’s brand-new companion for S4. Meanwhile S3, featuring the last new companion* starts airing in the U.S on Friday. (via Big Dumb Object, who has a lot more links.)
