Even if a vote to end the strike is reached within the next few says, pilot season still may be threatened. But that may mean Joss Whedon’s Dollhouse may be among the shows to profit, or at least be given a better chance to thrive from FOX.
There is a tentative agreement in place – WGA members will get the details at their meetings today.

CNBC is reporting that a deal has been reached between the media companies and the Writers Guild:
“It’s over,” [Michael] Eisner said. “They made the deal, they shook hands on the deal. It’s going on Saturday to the writers in general.”
The WGA has scheduled bicoastal meetings on Saturday to go over the new agreement. Ratification of the contract could take up to two weeks.

Entertainment Weekly is at it again – this time with thirty TV shows readers would bring back. As you might imagine, there’s quite a bit of genre choices – as well as other nerd favs like Veronica Mars, Rome, Arrested Development, and Freaks and Geeks.
There’s no Firefly, but it’s become such a given for this kind of thing that I’m perfectly okay leaving it off in exchange for all those shows I only vaguely remember watching.

Joy abounds for Buffy fans. Buffy herself, Sarah Michelle Gellar, has finally confirmed for a Buffy the Vampire Slayer cast reunion at PaleyFest.
