Yet more t-shirts
The custom t-shirt maker at StarWarsShop has been around for a while now, but it’s been updated with a ton of new images and the ability to choose colors and add words and phrases. Pretty neat!
Fan club president race runs close
As we reported earlier, Lucasfilm is running a recruiting contest for the next Star Wars Fan Club president. Whoever gets the most referrals from people signing or renewing Hyperspace wins. The winner gets to be Fan Club president and an expense-paid trip to San Diego Comic-Con International, among other things.
It looks like it’s between Dustin Roberts and Tom ‘Uscwannabe’ Costabile. According to the leaderboard, Costabile is currently in the lead, having 29 bounties to Robert’s 26.
Costabile’s lead is all the more impressive since he doesn’t have two major fansites pimping him out several times a day. Or maybe Rebelscum and TFN readers are so annoyed with the Roberts news-flood they’re throwing votes to the competition? Hmm…

Old friends, long gone
Topps is putting out an updated set of Star Wars Evolution cards this summer. It seems it’s been a while since we’ve seen anything from Topps… (Although given my lack of a collecting bent, maybe it’s just me. ;) I was always quite fond of the artwork-based sets from the 90’s, perhaps we’ll see a resurgence there as well.
Who’s the master now?
Popcorn Picnic, a ‘weekly cartoon movie review’ tackles Serenity via George Lucas, tongue firmly in cheek. I do have to wonder just how much hate mail Chris Shadoian has gotten over it. But hey, I’m amused. (via Whedonesque)
