No, it’s not going away, but fan club membership and a Star Wars Insider subscription will be separate, as they were originally. The Insider is also moving onto yet another new publisher.
Tiny troopers for charity
TFN reports that Lucasfilm is auctioning off two 501st Stormtrooper figures for the AIDS Emergency Fund. The figure was originally a Comic Con exclusive, but a version with the Star Wars Spectacular seal and George Lucas trading card was given to Parade participants.

Mary Gets Serenaded
It’s a rare thing for us to see Mary Franklin flustered.
It only lasts a few minutes, but you can see her just a wee bit flumoxed as she is serenaded by some very talented members of the Grambling State Band, as seen in this video.
She, of course, gets over it quickly and appears to be quite enjoying it. Lucky Mary!
