Lost races, lost racers in Resistance’s ‘The Disappeared’

The First Order’s presence on the Colossus continues to ramp up in Sunday’s ‘The Disappeared,’ the next episode of Star Wars Resistance.

The First Order presence is affecting life on the platform – big races are being cancelled and platformers are mysteriously disappearing. Kaz and Torra manage to successfully free the First Order prisoners, but don’t realize that their actions have put Team Fireball in a compromising position.

Did Hype Fazon really leave the platform? Who else is missing? Hints and more in the clip and photos below the cut.

Star Wars Resistance heads to the Unknown Regions

Poe’s back as things continue to go downhill for Kaz, Team Fireball and the Colossus in ‘The Core Problem’, Sunday’s new episode of Star Wars Resistance. This time, they’re off to explore the Unknown Regions, because that’s something that has historically gone very well in this galaxy.

Poe and Kaz seek out an area of the Unknown Regions that their intel on the First Order is pointing to. After the unsettling discovery of multiple cored and broken planets, they must evade a series of First Order pilots in order to make it back alive.

The clip also reveals just how close the series has gotten to The Force Awakens. Check it out, plus more pics, under the cut.

The Art of Star Wars Rebels arrives in October

This has been bouncing around fandom for a few days, but here it is, officially: The Art of Star Wars Rebels is coming out in October. The hardcover is written by Dan Wallace and “will chronicle the making of the show over its four-season run, complete with never-before-seen concept art and process pieces.” It will include commentary from Dave Filoni, Simon Kinberg, Carrie Beck and others, and is already up for preorder.

For the time being, there’s plenty of behind the scenes content in the series guide on StarWars.com, including the above, a lighting concept by Molly Denmark for the series finale.

The Force Awakens comes to ABC on Sunday

The Force Awakens will debut on network TV this coming Sunday (February 17) airing at 8:00/7:00 p.m. on (where else) ABC.

This has no effect the TBS/TNT deal, which is for basic cable rights, not broadcast – The Force Awakens, Rogue One, and the first two trilogies will continue to air there as well.

Stormtrooper disguise shenanigans come to Resistance

Kaz gets hold of some stormtrooper armor in Star Wars Resistance’s ‘The New Trooper.’ I’m sure it will go swimingly.

When Kel and Eila seek out Kaz’s help after accidentally knocking out a First Order stormtrooper, Kaz dons the trooper’s armor in an effort to collect more information on the First Order.

We also learn why the First Order is so interested in the Colossus in the preview clip. That and more pictures under the cut.

In ‘The First Order Occupation’, Sunday’s new episode of Star Wars Resistance, the First Order arrives at the Colossus to hunt down Synara after her actions last week. And it looks like Kaz might discover her secret as well.

After Torra’s kidnapping and subsequent rescue by Major Vonreg, the First Order sends a contingent of stormtroopers to the Colossus in order to hunt down the pirate spy.

More pictures and a clip under the cut.
