Charlie and Ewan still alive!
And passed the halfway mark yesterday in their epic Long Way Down motorcycle journey from John O-Groats, Scotland to Cape Agulhas, South Africa.
They are currently in Iganga, Uganda and are having a lovely time visiting with the elephants.
Did I mention they are still alive?
Star Wars roundup: I want them alive!
It pales in comparison to the news of the week, but Mark Hamill is one of Times Online’s 33 funniest Simpson’s cameos for Mayored to the Mob, the episode that features the classic ‘Luke be a Jedi Tonight’ The only clip I can find of it on Youtube is mostly dubbed in Spanish. Except for the song. Okay!

It’s a Zombie Chick Flick Movie!
After a slight delay to deal with real life, Star Wars author Aaron Allston has gotten some coverage for his upcoming film Deadbacks.
This piece is from an Austin public television show that does stories on local films. A little slow in parts, but a lot of fun to watch the behind-the-scenes stuff and Aaron walking around in a 501st shirt.
It feels a little like Ain’t It Cool to say that we’ve seen some stuff from this movie and it’s going to be a lot of fun! Stay tuned to Club Jade for more from this film as it readies.
Sam falls to the Dark Side

Star Wars in the news
Bryan Young defends the prequel trilogy at perhaps one of the last places one would expect such a thing – The Huffington Post. If he was at CIV, I think I may have asked him (or his son) a trivia question or two…
Also, among the things we missed due to C4, Empire’s special Star Wars section, including a marathon interview with George Lucas, Mark Hamill and Carrie Fisher. Whoops.
