Amuse yourself with CIV postcards And don’t forget – March 30 is the last day to order Celebration IV badges online.
CIV: The Visuals
Get celestial with the official Celebration IV poster by John Alvin. Meanwhile, the badges feature cartoons, including what looks like a profanity-spewing Ewok! It’s for kids, but I want one.
CE: Collecting track, offsite exhibit
Check out Celebration Europe’s collecting programming. Meanwhile, elsewhere in London during CE will be Star Wars: The Exhibition.
CE: Art, art and more art in London
Lawrence Noble will be live-sculpting Grand Moff Tarkin at Celebration Europe. Just like at CIV, one lucky fan will get to take the bust home. There’ll also be an art show and environments by Weird & Wonderful that will “transport visitors into the world of Star Wars.”
Free stuff at CIV; Droids for CE
Two-inch pewter medallion featuring classic figures will be given away during random collecting panels at Celebration. They’re limited to only 350 of each.
Meanwhile, fans at Celebration Europe can expect the R2-D2 Builders.
CIV: Six-movie marathon
Wednesday at Celebration IV, attendees can see the whole saga at once. And registration starts at 9 a.m. PDT (noon EDT) today, so stake your claim now.
Fan film awards add fanfic category
Yes, fan fiction. The fan film awards also get a name change – it’s now the Fan Movie Challenge Awards, and Spike TV is on board to give the results a wider audience. As in previous years, it all comes to a head at Celebration.
Celebration Europe updates; Disney guests
Charlie Ross is taking his One Man Star Wars Trilogy over the sea to Celebration Europe; David Prowse, Ray Park, Jeremy Bulloch, Daniel Logan, and Temuera Morrison are confirmed guests.
We also get the guest list for this year’s Disney Star Wars Weekends.
CIV: All three Fetts attending
Jeremy Bulloch, Daniel Logan, and Temuera Morrison will all be attending Celebration. Meanwhile, merchandise hounds with 4-day badges can register for ‘Quick Path’ shopping.
Jay Laga’aia to host Celebration
It seems like everyone at C3 fell a little in love with multi-talented host Jay Laga’aia (Captain Typho,) so it’s great to see he’s back to host C4! And he takes his responsibility seriously.
Who’d have guessed that Ewoks would be so hot in 2007? Diorama master Frank D’Iorio is back, and this time he’s leading attendees in the creation of a Endor diorama.
