I’ve never heard of this comic book Bizarre New World but if you read issue #3 and answer three questions and pick a number, you’re in the running for a custom lightsaber, above. It’s all free, even the comic, so what’s the harm?
Steam Wars entries are in!

LEGO Steampunk Naboo Fighter – with monkey!
Mark Stafford made a Naboo Fighter for the Steam Wars contest – and it’s pretty damn cool. Even aside from the sheer brilliance of a navigation monkey. Check out more entries at the second link. (via)

Eureka! You can go green!
So, okay. They can’t give you a house with SARAH running things. But the smart folks at Eureka are offering a contest to help you turn your home eco-friendly with the Eureka $mart House Energy Efficiency Challenge. (Since Global Warming was the result of one of their experiments going wrong, they have to make up for it somehow!)
Sadly, this does require some decent and/or creative writing as you need to come up with 250 words about why you deserve to win. (Oh. And save the planet and all that stuff.)
Bobby Ewing Would’ve Loved This
We totally knew it wasn’t real. Check out the latest from the Holonet.
But is GG having a DH contest?
