By the time most of you read this, Tim Zahn’s Outbound Flight will be available in stores. There are several signings through the country in the next couple of weeks, and looks like there may be some printing problems, although it doesn’t sound like anything fatal.
Well, looks like Dark Horse is getting more cash from me than I thought – among the Spring 2006 releases is Tag & Bink Episode I – Revenge of the Clone Menace.
Amazon has a preview of Dark Horse’s long-delayed Comics Companion, which looks a bit like The Essential Chronology for your more comic-oriented fanboys.
Of more interest to CJers is a Rogue Squadron Omnibus. (via TFN)
According to the International Digital Publishing Forum, the Revenge of the Sith script was the best-selling eBook of 2005, beating, among others, The Da Vinci Code, Michael Crichton, and the Bible.
Sue Rostoni has posted the character list for Aaron Allston’s Betrayal, the first book of the Legacy series. There’s also a (very) short excerpt.
You can catch up on what else we know about Legacy and Betrayal at Suzanne’s blog.
Word comes from the starwars.com boards that there’s a new Star Wars Encyclopedia in the works. The last one came out in 1998 – before even TPM! Sue Rostoni says:
It’s true, there is a new Encyclopedia in the works. A volume that will update ongoing entries. Stuff that hasn’t changed (i.e., “hydrospanner”) won’t be duplicated in this second volume. A pub date hasn’t been set in duracrete yet, but we’re looking at Fall 2008 as a possible release time. The format will be the same as the first volume, to keep it as a “set.” That’s about all that’s been discussed at this point.
Also, the Coruscant Nights trilogy is being pushed back to 2008. Better than a year between each volume for a paperback trilogy, I guess.
Official site has added a bunch of stuff from Clone Wars Volume 2 (Which came out on DVD Tuesday) to the Databank.
Also, March 2006 comics. Tag and Bink return!
And the Drew Karypyshyn Darth Bane novel is… Path of Destruction, due October 2006.
