The cover for Drew Karpyshyn’s Rule of Two spotted on Random House site. A bit of a letdown after the nice John Jude Palencar cover for Path of Destruction, but I suppose that’s inevitable with such a shortened production schedule. Maybe it’s an early sketch version?
Aaron Allston and Troy Denning fight!
Comics from the future!
Rebelscum has Dark Horse’s December solicitations, including Legacy #19, Rebellion #11, Knights of the Old Republic #24 and the fanboy-pleasing Legacy #0½. Plus the second Legacy and Rebellion collections, and a hardcover of the first Legacy collection… Gee, must be a popular series or something.
Han Solo and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull
Poor Harrison. His characters can’t seem to get away from crystal skulls.
We now have the title for Indy IV, but he’s been there before in a previous adventure.
(Pointed out by Paul Ballard.)
Out this week
On Diamond’s shipping list for Wednesday are Legacy #16 and Rebellion #10.
You can whet your appetite for Dark Horse releases even furthur in the future with new previews of Clone Wars Adventures Vol. 9 and KOTOR #20.
Dark Horse announces Vector
Newsarama reports from the Diamond Retailer Summit in Baltimore:
2008 will see Star Wars: Vector, a crossover story that will be “similar to Civil War in its scope and style,” according to Dark Horse’s Jeremy Atkins. One constant character will experience the story as it travels through all four of Dark Horse’s Star Wars titles: Knights of the Old Republic, Rebellion, Legacy and Dark Times. John Ostrander and John Jackson Miller will oversee the story direction through the titles.
A multi-book crossover? I believe that’s a first for the Star Wars comics.
As one might expect, the TFN fanboys have already got their whine on, but John Ostrander promises no flow-walking. This ought to be interesting…
Catching up with Labor Day weekend
George Lucas is becoming ‘increasingly involved’ with the Clone Wars animated series. Good? Bad? Gungan? Only time will tell! In other CW news, Disney really wants the broadcast rights.

Can you help me become a Star Wars author?
Abel G. Peña answers the eternal question of ignorant fankids everywhere. I admire him for being fairly chill about it – every time I see this kind of thing on the boards (Why does no one read FAQs anymore?) I kinda want to break out my GTFO gloves. Although I usually just link them to fanfiction.net instead. Infringe Luke, infringe!
Out this week
No comics, but today does see the release of Troy Denning’s Inferno, the sixth book in the Legacy of the Force series.
Up close and personal with EU figures
RebelScum has pictures of several of the new comic packs, including HttE Luke and Mara, Infinities Leia and Vader, and A’Sharad Hett and Dark Woman.
Suddenly I feel way less guilty about not looking too hard for these figures. The fug is strong with them…
