The Solo book lineup is here, and it’s extensive. All the usual suspects are here: Novels from Del Rey and Disney Lucasfilm Press, comics from Marvel and IDW, the standard non-fiction… And a whole lot of kids stuff, because Star Wars. The Force Awakens novelization can be had for cheap

The Last Jedi novelization won’t be out until March, but the Kindle version of Alan Dean Foster’s The Force Awakens novelization is currently on sale for $1.99. While I can’t in any good faith recommend the novel – read the best part over at our Tumblr – it’s a good price if you’re curious, and it does include the short stories ‘The Perfect Weapon’ by Phasma author Delilah S. Dawson and ‘Bait’ by Foster.

Hold on to your butts: Leland Chee says more Legends characters will be “cropping up”

“You wouldn’t believe some of the Legends characters that will be cropping up in various media in the coming months,” the Lucasfilm story group’s Leland Chee said in response to a Twitter query. “Hey, if Tag & Bink can show up, ANYthing is possible.”

Star Wars out this week: DJ one-shot, Thrawn PB, Rose and Paige

It’s a big week for releases, at least by post/pre-movie standards: One novel re-release and three comics! On Tuesday, January 30, Timothy Zahn’s Thrawn is out in paperback. It has a sequel coming in July.

Then on Wednesday, January 31, our comics. The big ticket is The Last Jedi tie-in DJ #1 (with several variants). If you like your TLJ a little less neutral, there’s also Forces of Destiny: Rose and Paige. Or head back to the OT era with Doctor Aphra #16.
