StarWars.com has the first excerpt from Timothy Zahn’s Thrawn: Alliances, in which Thrawn and Darth Vader meet with the Emperor. It gives us some idea of the book’s time frame, and a mention of a new planet you may recognize.
Thrawn: Alliances will be out July 24 in hardcover and eBook.
Two comics and a Dark Horse era collection are headed for the comic shops on Wednesday, March 21. Pick up Star Wars #45, Poe Dameron #25, or for the prequel-era Legends fans, there’s a new Epic Collection, The Clone Wars: Volume 2.
Even coming months after the film, Jason Fry’s The Last Jedi novelization debuts on The New York Times bestseller list at #2.
The big-ticket item this week is the digital home release of The Last Jedi, which drops on Tuesday, March 13. It features 14 deleted scenes, various documentaries and an audio commentary from director Rian Johnson. If you want the Blu-ray, you’re stuck waiting until March 27.

Excited for Last Shot, the Solo tie-in by Daniel José Older? The official site has the novel’s first excerpt – featuring Han and baby Ben – and an interview with Older.
Last Shot will be out on April 17.
One comic and a trade collection are dropping this Wednesday, February 28. Pick up Darth Vader #12 or the collected Jedi of the Republic: Mace Windu.
We’re just over a week away from the release of Jason Fry’s The Last Jedi novelization on Tuesday, March 6. Copies have been spotted out in the wild, and “spoilers” (such as they are) are running rampant, so beware the kneejerk reactions.
There will be just one thing waiting for Star Wars fans in the comic shop this Wednesday, February 21: Doctor Aphra #17.
Meanwhile, we draw ever closer to March 6 and our next novel release, Jason Fry’s The Last Jedi novelization. Our book release schedule is finally filling out for spring thanks to Friday’s Solo book announcement.
