Confirmed: The Clone Wars #4 is Gambit: Stealth

The Random House catalog is listing the fourth Clone Wars novel with the title of Gambit: Stealth, as reported by NJOE. The Karen Miller novel, first of a two-parter, is due out on February 23.

Comics: Invasion , Legacy previews

Dark Horse posted previews for Invasion #1 and Legacy #37 yesterday: We can expect another Invasion preview at StarWars.com tomorrow. All the better to hype folks up for the actual comic in July.

Invasion writer Tom Taylor also got some press as the ‘Where Science Meets Imagination’ exhibit and Fanboys hit Australia.

Kemp interview offers Crosscurrent hints

There’s a fairly hefty interview with upcoming author Paul S. Kemp by Jay Tomio on Tor.com today. Here’s what he had to say on Crosscurrent‘s main character, Jaden Kor:

Jaden is a complex character. His relationship to the Force is strong, but the nature of the relationship troubles him. His Master, Kyle Katarn, had a view of the Force more in line with the Potentium school (the Force as tool, rather than the morally loaded terms of Dark and Light), but Jaden isn’t so sure. Recent events in the Civil War, and in particular Jaden’s actions in the assault on Centerpoint Station, have made his internal conflict more acute. He’ll be working out that conflict in Crosscurrent.

Video game news from E3…

Lots of big video game announcements coming during E3, happening this week in Los Angeles, besides the cinematic trailer for The Old Republic MMO:

Monkey Island is coming back! LucasArts and Telltale Games are teaming up to make Tales of Monkey Island, a five part episodic adventure coming out later this summer (for PC and Wii). Also, they are releasing an updated version of the first Monkey Island game – The Secrets of Monkey Island: Special Edition, with updated graphics and sound (but allowing players to swap back to the originals for old school adventuring).
IGN previews Star Wars: The Clone Wars: Republic Heroes, where players can play different Jedi or clonetroopers in an action-packed storyline set in between seasons 1 and 2 of “The Clone Wars”. One highlighted gameplay action is the ability for Jedi to hijack battle droids and ride them in battle.
1UP previews Star Wars: Battlefront: Elite Squadron for PSP and DS — now combining the roles of ground battles and space battles!
and for those LEGO Video game fans: LEGO Harry Potter, Years 1 – 4, was announced. Will the later films’ darker content mean that the second part of Harry’s years at Hogwarts never seen LEGO gameplay?

Rumor: Title for Miller’s The Clone Wars #4?

NJOE is reporting that the fourth Clone Wars book will be titled Gambit: Stealth. Not sure where they’re getting it though, so for now I’m putting it firmly in the rumor column.

Nonfiction. Here we have the cover for Star Wars: 1,000 Collectibles. Steve Sansweet and Anne Neumann take us into the depths of Rancho Obi-Wan… Okay, maybe not the depths. Look for it October 1st.

Random. TheForce.Net has some random updates on upcoming books, mostly The Clone Wars kids stuff, which honestly I’m not even trying to keep track of. There is an episode guide that might be of interest to some.
