It’s pretty impossible to miss the release date for Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince, (Less than 38 chapters! Already on the best seller list!) but did you know that they’ve released two stills from the Goblet of Fire movie? Or that “harry potter” is the 8th most popular Google search in Brazil and Finland?

Leonardo DiCaprio claims he was offered the part of Anakin Skywalker, which will surprise no one who’s seen all those damn commercials for The Aviator – he could be Jack Lloyd’s older brother. However, he’s also, well, Leonardo DiCaprio, which means he looks like a troll on growth hormones. Thank you, Leo, for choosing to make crap fine films like The Beach instead.
Serenity preview
An unfinished version of Joss Whedon’s Serenity was screened for a test audience earlier this week. Darkworlds has a positive but sadly spoiler-free take; One Whedonesque thread has a few juicy bits; another keeps to technical details. Even Ain’t it Cool News isn’t dishing anything major. People really, really love this film and are actually unwilling to spoil major plot points. Shocking!
