Because nothing brings geeks together like sitting in a dark room: Big Screen Clone Wars at Celebration III.
Fugbidden Love
By winning a Golden Globe, Natalie Portman has gained another distinction: she got fugged. She’s sporting the least-offensive outfit featured so far, though: face it, no one is gonna beat Diane Kruger.
Spike: Hot. Spike Naked: Not
Buffy may be over, but Marti Noxon has unfinished business with James Marsters. She needs to take his shirt off one last time.
That said, Point Pleasant (Warning: obnoxious Flash) looks like it could be interesting. Pity it debuts verses Alias, which most of the people they’re marketing it towards will be watching.
Just keep James out of it. Maybe they can digitally superempose him over Keanu Reeves in Constantine instead.
More Collecting Panels
SE Luke somewhere in my closet aside, I am decidedly not a collector. But I think I might attend the Unproduced Toys panel, if only to get the story behind that Lounge Lizard Leia doll. It’s put on by some guy named Vic Wertz. Heard of him?
Pick up a Fanboy
Really want to impress the other geeks in line for Episode 3? Shell out $20,000 and get yourself a JL421 Badonkadonk. And naturally, you can buy it via Amazon.
Frodo??
Little Harry Potter is all grown up… Or did they just replace him with Elijah Wood?
ROTS Bookshelf: The Covers
The official site updated with the covers for the novelization, The Making of, The Art of, and the graphic novel adaptation of Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith. IESB has high res scans (scroll down) for the detail-oriented. TFN, however, has a summary of the novelization. It reveals, well, pretty much the whole plot of the movie, so Spoiler Masters only.
Insider #80
The next Insider, due in subscriber mailboxes somethime this week, features a cover article about the next round of Clone Wars cartoons, interviews with Samuel L. Jackson and Christopher Lee, a history of the Mandalorians and a tour of Jango and Boba Fett’s apartment set, as well as the usual Prequel Update, and all new photos (including a pic that’s already setting Anakin fangirls around the off in high-pitched squees of lust.) Non subscribers can expect the issue in stores by the end of the month.
When the droids come marching in
The R2-D2 Builders are returning for Celebration 3. At least 59 droids are expected to attend.
Vanity Fair scans
Can’t wait? Jedinet has high resolution scans of Vanity Fair‘s Revenge of the Sith cover story.
And TFN found a news item that claims the full trailer will be on March’s Clone Wars DVD. And the presale numbers spike.
