Jonesing for the trailer? Missed The O.C.? Don’t have Hyperspace or AOL? Too moral and upstanding to download an illegal copy? Well, just for you, TFN has a Frame by Frame ROTS Trailer Description!
Fanboys working for us!
There’s some new information regarding a cameo by a Classic Trilogy character… Namely, the official site has updated their cast list, and someone (not us) noticed. For more, check out ComingSoon’s latest Star Wars Roundup.
George on 60 Minutes
If you caught the trailer tonight, you may have seen a commercial for Sunday’s 60 Minutes… they’re doing a feature on George Lucas and Revenge of the Sith.
The mullet’s revenge
Not to be outdone, the folks at starwars.com have given us a first look at the poster for Episode III.
Covered, again
It’s a banner day for covers, apparently… also debuting today is the cover for Neil Gaiman’s Anansi Boys.
Covering Harry
J.K. Rowling’s publishers have released the covers for Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. In conjunction with the reveal, AP has an interview with Mary GrandPre, whose illustrations adorn the American editions.
There’s already massive speculation about what the cover art says about the story – keep an eye on the Daily Snitch, which will probably be updating in a few hours, with as much obsessive guesswork as you can stand.
Star Wars TV show gossip!
USA Today gossip columnist Will Keck claims to have talked to George Lucas at the Oscars, and picked up this:
West Hollywood, Calif.: Any news on the hot Hayden Christensen and his lightsaber?
Will Keck: How funny this question should come from WeHo. Well, I’ll be professional and say the new ‘SW’ trailer will be out this month — attached to the new FOX animated movie ‘Robots.’ Sam Jackson tells me the trailer shows who fights who — and may give a glimpse as to which character takes Mace Windu down. George Lucas also told me at the Oscars that he’s developing a ‘Star Wars’ TV show that would take place between the events of ‘Revenge of the Sith’ and ‘A New Hope.’
Doesn’t really explain the other rumors about Hamill being involved… unless they’re looking into doing Star Wars: The Wonder Years. Or animation.
Of course, a gossip columnist is far from the best source for this kind of thing, and we don’t have a direct quote, so take it as you will.
Spoilers du jour
Get an short preview at the trailer at starwars.com. I’m sorry, but you will have to sit through a few seconds of Mischa Barton attempting to emote.
Or just cut straight to the chase and check out Coming Soon’s latest Star Wars Roundup. A few new pictures and some interesting spoilers – and be sure to not to miss the bit about a cut scene.
Vader’s disco boots ride again
Star Wars: Musical Edition will be performed at Celebration II!
Dance fanboy, dance!
Another version of the infamous Episode III pic parade, only this time it’s funny. Someone needs to point out to the writer that the Empire does not technically exist at the beginning of the film.
But I’ll forgive him. Because of the funny.
In addition to this, we have another parody that I failed to post on a timely basis: Star Wars: A Lost Hope. Some toilet humor; a lot of Anakin whining. But hey, I’m easily amused.
