And Harry Marks the Spot

Harry Potter author JK Rowling committed an act of vandalism as she completed the final book in the series. She cemented the occasion by writing on an antique-style statue in a hotel in Edinburgh.

So. If you’re this hotel, do you replace the statue? Or leave it?

In related news, JK Rowling has decided there will be no e-book version of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.

And (are we at all surprised here?) pre-orders have set an all-time record.
