TFN spotted this on Youtube earlier this morning, so better watch it before it’s pulled. (The scene is the vertical cliff-side battle we got a glimpse of in the trailer, featuring Anakin, Ahsoka, and a lot of droids.)
In other The Clone Wars news, Fandango says that the film’s run time is two hours, one minute.
This may just be the slashiest Star Trek fanvid since ‘Closer’. (Well, maybe not. Still, it’s pretty slashy.)

GalacticBinder is a new site aiming to be the ultimate web directory for Star Wars fandom. It’s off to a nice start (here’s our listing.)
Being ad-heavy and sponsored by an official licensee, I wouldn’t count on your more paranoid fanfic sites to feel particularly welcome here, although the fact that they have a category for them at all is a nice sign. What strikes me as the most unusual is the lack of a general Expanded Universe category – it only appears as a subsection under Characters.
Still, it was on TFN yesterday, so site owners will no doubt be submitting listings like mad for a good week or so.
The folks over at ExtremeTech’s Gearlog got a sneak peek at some upcoming Star Wars toys, including the new Millennium Falcon, which is 30% bigger than the old ones. (They were using the same mold for 30 years before it broke!) Head on over to the link to see another video of The Clone Wars line.
The new Falcon will be officially unveiled at San Diego Comic Con next month.
Kotaku reported yesterday that LucasArts “has laid off approximately 50-100 of its employees.” (Just now confirmed.) The result? A windfall of rumormongering going around about their upcoming projects, including (of course) the long-awaited KOTOR 3/MMO.
According to her website, the Republic Commando author will on hand in San Diego July 24-27 for the convention, just in time for The Clone Wars novelization to hit the shelves – if it really is coming out on July 26, that is. Are they going to wait until the con to officially announce this thing? Any day now… I hope. (via)
Gamespot is reporting that the secret apprentice from The Force Unleashed (aka Starkiller) will be joining Vader and Yoda in Soul Calibur IV – on both versions of the game.

Rebelscum has Dark Horse’s solicitations for September, including Clone Wars, a new miniseries that will “compliment” the movie and TV series. Also, Vector jumps into the future with Legacy #28.
I dare you to resist these Star Wars mice from Etsy’s The House Of Mouse. There are Yoda, Chewie, and Obi-Wan, of course, but also Luke, Anakin, Palpatine, Leia, Han, and even Indiana Jones. But that’s not all… There are plenty of familiar mouseterpations of other CJ favorites, including Harry Potter and a pirate. There’s a pretty huge selection, so there’s bound to be something for everyone… She even takes commissions!
